How tall is the Tempur-Pedic adjustable base?
The adjustable base for Tempur-Pedic mattresses depends on which foundation you choose and how many leg segments you utilize. All Tempur-Pedic adjustable bases are about 4 inches tall on their own. If you decide to add leg attachments, the height will increase.You can choose to add 3, 6, 9, or 12 inches of leg height. So Tempur-Pedic adjustable bases can be anywhere between 4 and 16 inches tall. The 3-inch leg segments are wonderful because you can decide exactly how high up you’d like to be while sleeping.
Can you use a Tempur-Pedic adjustable base without legs?
Yes! The adjustable bases do not require the leg segments to work properly. If you like to be as low to the ground as possible or don’t want to bother with adding leg segments, you don’t have to use any. The zero-clearance base design guarantees that the Tempur-Pedic bed with adjustable base will be just as comfortable if you place it directly on the floor.
