Rest easy with the fact that your Ashley-Sleep® mattress doesn’t require much care and maintenance. For starters, all Ashley-Sleep mattresses are designed to be no flip—now isn’t that a relief!
How to Care for Your Mattress:
- To help keep your Ashley-Sleep mattress clean, a thin mattress protector is recommended so it breathes to allow airflow and heat dissipation. Ashley-Sleep does not recommend you use a quilted mattress pad as it will change the feel of the mattress you selected at the store. It may also trap heat that needs to escape.
- Don’t use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.
- Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water and apply lightly, allowing the mattress time to fully air dry.
- Please remind the kids not to jump on their Ashley-Sleep mattress, as doing so can break down the inner construction and materials.

I have chronic back pain and constantly have interrupted sleep because of it. I have only twice before bought mattresses and both times were a disappointment. Not this time.
I have made the purchase investment in my sleep and it didn't have to cost over $1000.00 either. This is medium firm mattress and it sleep really well. You do have to let it "breathe and expand" for at least 24 hours after opening but it will be your best sleep EVER!

I prefer to sleep on my side and back and also suffer from back pain. I prefer a firm mattress with a little bit of give… This mattress has been wonderful! Nice and firm and so very comfortable! I purchased the 10 inch Chime memory foam in the full-size.

Yes, I don’t see why not. Mattress is vacuum packed flat. When you cut open plastic, it fills. Looks and feels as firm as a regular pillow top. Very firm. We have a platform bed too

Very comfortable, just what I needed, since no vehicle to haul mattress and avoid shipping charges. It expanded to 9 in height not 10 inches (as stated) although I didn't use it for at least 40 hrs. Rating w/in 1 month of purchase

Comfortable and great price
The mattress is very comfortable and at a great price. I had bought a king size months back and really liked it so I went ahead and got the twin for my daughter. She used to move around a lot at night and now she falls asleep faster and seems more relaxed. Recommend for anyone on the fence about a mattress out of a box. It is soft without being too soft and you don’t feel or hear the springs which is one worry I had before I bought it.

I would recommend this brand without reservation.
I have not used it much yet but when I have I couldn’t be more pleased. The firmness is just right without feeling hard. Also, the convenience of easy delivery was great. In addition to the ease it was very quick, less than a week. I would definitely recommend this brand .

Rest easy with the fact that your Ashley-Sleep® mattress doesn’t require much care and maintenance. For starters, all Ashley-Sleep mattresses are designed to be no flip—now isn’t that a relief!
How to Care for Your Mattress:
- To help keep your Ashley-Sleep mattress clean, a thin mattress protector is recommended so it breathes to allow airflow and heat dissipation. Ashley-Sleep does not recommend you use a quilted mattress pad as it will change the feel of the mattress you selected at the store. It may also trap heat that needs to escape.
- Don’t use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.
- Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water and apply lightly, allowing the mattress time to fully air dry.
- Please remind the kids not to jump on their Ashley-Sleep mattress, as doing so can break down the inner construction and materials.

BEST ANSWER: Some platform beds do require a foundation/box spring to support the mattress. If there are multiple slats (not just three support beams), then one would not be needed.

I have chronic back pain and constantly have interrupted sleep because of it. I have only twice before bought mattresses and both times were a disappointment. Not this time.
I have made the purchase investment in my sleep and it didn't have to cost over $1000.00 either. This is medium firm mattress and it sleep really well. You do have to let it "breathe and expand" for at least 24 hours after opening but it will be your best sleep EVER!

I prefer to sleep on my side and back and also suffer from back pain. I prefer a firm mattress with a little bit of give… This mattress has been wonderful! Nice and firm and so very comfortable! I purchased the 10 inch Chime memory foam in the full-size.

Yes, as long as they are not too tall. My husband and I have both fallen asleep on it and been fine. I am 5'4" and he is 5'7"

I don't see why you couldn't. We are using the mattress with a platform bed with slats and no box spring but a solid piece of plywood should work fine.

Yes, I don’t see why not. Mattress is vacuum packed flat. When you cut open plastic, it fills. Looks and feels as firm as a regular pillow top. Very firm. We have a platform bed too

We bought this for our daughter and she's had it for almost a year and it's absolutely wonderful. I was skeptical at 1st but it's a very nice quality mattress and is still in very good condition. I would definitely order another mattress like this.
