I have the cottage retreat queen/full. So far it's been used as a full. I just bought a queen mattress and noticed the bars that hold the mattress up doesn't adjust. Did it come with bars that support a queen mattress or do I need to purchase them?

Great service! Great durable bed!
I bought this over five years ago, and had to replace the side frame due to an accident. The bed is great! Very durable!! The LB employees were amazing helping me just replace the sides!

Nice bed
Loved the style and accents on the bed but should have done my research on this product or looked over It more thoroughly in store. It was very high even with a low profile box spring. Also a little disappointed that it consists mainly of particle board material. The back of the headboard is unfinished so it looks like raw material/unpainted particle board. I was expecting it to look the same as front of head board. Guess I expected better quality for the price. I bought this for my daughters room so it will do.

beautiful but metal frame broke!
This bed is beautifully made; unfortunately one of the screws on the metal frame came loose and we didn't notice so the frame is now bent and not supportive. Otherwise, it's a lovely bed

Abnormally high!!
Just purchased this bed and not sure how to deal with its ridiculous height. The rails sit in the middle of the footboard and by the time you add the required box spring and mattress the look of the entire bed is destroyed-absolutely nothing like it is pictured. I feel that it needs the cross supports but it is crazy high-going to see if I can return the boxspring and use a strong wooden board instead-wish I had known this before I purchased and put everything together.

Needs a box spring that is not too high
I purchased this bed online and am extremely unhappy with the entire experience.
It was delivered within the required time. The picture looks as though all one needs is a mattress. But the reality is it needs a Box spring and the bed cannot be lowered adequately. I had to cut the metal supporting legs myself to lower the bed as much as I could. All in all a poorly designed and made bedset. I have decided to simply live with an extremely high bed.

Great Bed for the price
I'm really happy with the bed & whole set the bed is under Ashley's youth merchandise but this bed is heavy well made and sturdy. One thing to keep in mind the bed height is high so I had to switch from a 9 inch box spring to a low profile 5 inch box spring. Keep that measurement in mind when ordering unless you want a bed with ridiculous height. Bed is great I love it.
