Cement insert stains

Overall, the set is beautiful. However, the grey insert stains when in contact with oils (i.e. olive oil, salad dressing, grease, etc...) How can you have a dining room set that can't handle oils and grease?

Beautiful striking set

I bought this set 2 weeks ago and it replaced a 23 yr old oak set. Chairs are solid, heavy and nicely contoured. Love the tile inserts. I have lots of children so hopefully it will hold up nice. Everyone in my home has complimented this set. Very happy with purchase.

A Conversation Piece

Well, I read the last review and I feel like it didn't say enough justice. I'm a big fan of the Starmore line. Yes this table is heavy and the wooden chairs are simple but heavy and an up grade from basic. I also have the desk chairs add to my set. Which just gives it an upgrade and different look. People are always complimenting all of my Starmore furniture. I'm not into talking people to death. Reviews are important. I'm very happy with my purchase

Beautiful Wood

I have had this a month. The wood is thick extremely heavy and very pretty. The cement inlays are OK. They don't look exactly how I thought they would from the description on line. They look sort of like particle wood, which I do not love.
