Yes. My husband is 6'4" and he fits in it very comfortably. That's one of the reasons we chose this one. There one a power recliner on display in our local store and he was able to sit in it before we bought it. It is like it was made for tall people. We love ours.

I am 5'5" and think it is on the lower end closer to the ground but not like a child's seat at all and very easy to get into and out of. My husband bought this chair for himself in our TV room and I thought OMG this thing is huge because it is so plush but I have to say I loved it so much we bought one for my office/craft room and I love relaxing in it. I had awful back problems last year and actually slept in it. It is very easy to curl up in. stretch out, or just lay back and relax. Surfaces are plush and soft and even better with a blanket. Also love that it really doesn't take up as much space as you'd think due to the zero wall space feature or whatever it is called. It sits almost all the way up to the wall maybe 3 inches away and once fully extended barely grass the wall so hardly any back clearance is needed, just front. Even with a hurting back, it was the easiest chair in the house to get in and out of. I love it and use it every day!

It doesn't sit low to the floor. It does sit you back pretty far though. I'm 5'10 and my feet just reach the floor. Friends shorter than me, there feet don't touch the floor. I actually have to scootch a little forward to get up out of the chair.

Is this chair easy to close? Shopping for someone with leg/knee issues that find it difficult to close some recliners.

BEST ANSWER: Yes! This wonderful recliner closes with a push of a button...you do not have to try to use your legs to pull it shut... it can close down a little or all the way, your choice. We love this recliner and so do our guests. My sister keeps asking if she can just take it with her anytime she comes over for a visit. 10/10 would buy it again.

I have trouble closing this chair. The material between the chair and the footrest can bunch up and get in the way. I enjoy it otherwise; it just might not be best for someone with leg/knee issues.

Good height recliner.
The arm rests sit up too high in order to reach anything from the end tables. It is comfortable yet, it could us more lower back support.

Monster Uncomfortable Recliner
this chair is so big that I can't reach the lever to recline, because the arms are so over stuffed, the seat is not comfortable at all. Regret buying this recliner.

Awesome recliner!
We sat in over 20 different recliners in 4 different stores. Raised them up, put them down. By far, this recliner beats other more expensive ones, hands down! Easy to recline back or close it up with just a push of a button. No need to try to knock your back out trying to manipulate this chair. The fabric is great, the design fits well with our other furniture. Great Find!

not too comfortable...the headrest cushion doesnt fit your neck correctly..you need to stuff a pillow in between...maybe if you are 6'4 it would fit..but I am 5'7...not the best support either...too squishy

LARGE, COMFY, 3 POSITIONS
This is the largest recliner I have ever seen. I am 225 lbs. and I fit like a teen. It has all 3 positions, and all that room. That was hard to find all in 1 chair. I was skeptical at first, for the price. I am totally happy with this chair. Delivery and assembly was fast and professional. I just love the quality and value of Ashley furniture.

Love it!

I LOVE IT!
I have only had this chair for a few days and love it. It's big and cushy! I'm having a hip replacement soon and haven't been able to sleep in a bed and old recliner just didn't do it. It took me all of 10 minutes in the chair and woke up 4hrs later. I am seriously thinking about buying another one. Thank you Ashley furniture for ending my long quest for a good recliner. This one is GREAT!

Love This Recliner!
I bought one of these a year ago and just bought a 2nd one a couple of months ago. This recliner is SO comfortable. I actually have to make rules and limits for sitting in it because when I sit in it I don't want to get up! LOL! My husband is 6'3" and a pretty big guy. This fits him well. We first tried it out in the store to see how he would fit because he looked ridiculous in some of the smaller ones. LOL You will not regret buying this.

Just ordered 2 of these recliners
Was at the new store that just opened in Ocala, FL, the people were very friendly and helpful, not pushing and following you around trying to sell you any and everything. They had just what we were looking for and even with the new store problems they got the job done had us on our way. Will be going back to see them again.

A Good Choice
I bought this about a month ago and it is just what it said it would be! Large enough for a heavy person and soft enough for an old, heavy person. I bought this sight unseen as the local Ashley Home Store did not have it in stock. There has been more than one evening where it took the place of my bed!

You get what you pay for
I bought this chair 6 months ago for my husband. He is 6’2 , 320lb. It is nice , big and plush. We bought manual recline(bc he’s old school) it has no back support or neck support go him. His feet hang off about 10 inches. It has become wobbaly in a short period of time. Overall it is a nice chair for the price. It should probally be used for a company chair as opposed to an everyday chair.

Comfortable
I bought this chair a few weeks ago, as an update, and I am so glad I did. It is comforting to my back and head, I have severe chronic headaches, and they ease when I recline and am able to quickly fall asleep. A satisfying experience!

Love!
We shopped around a lot for recliners before buying one. We sat in this model at the ashley homestore location closest to us and it fit my husband well. He is on the bigger size, 6'3" and he looked ridiculous in some of the smaller chairs. This chair has a large presence and is very comfortable and plush. He loves it. I Ithink it's a great deal for the price.

Overall ok
Con's: There is very little lumbar support. Had to use large couch pillow behind me and neck pillow. The leg section is too short. My legs over lap foot section and digs into ankles. I'm only 5' 8". Lever hard to reach and hard to use.
Pro's: Great delivery service. Very professional and kind. Once I got the lumbar adjusted, very comfortable. Grandkids and rest of family give a "thumbs up." Very roomy and looks great.

Yes. My husband is 6'4" and he fits in it very comfortably. That's one of the reasons we chose this one. There one a power recliner on display in our local store and he was able to sit in it before we bought it. It is like it was made for tall people. We love ours.

I am 5'5" and think it is on the lower end closer to the ground but not like a child's seat at all and very easy to get into and out of. My husband bought this chair for himself in our TV room and I thought OMG this thing is huge because it is so plush but I have to say I loved it so much we bought one for my office/craft room and I love relaxing in it. I had awful back problems last year and actually slept in it. It is very easy to curl up in. stretch out, or just lay back and relax. Surfaces are plush and soft and even better with a blanket. Also love that it really doesn't take up as much space as you'd think due to the zero wall space feature or whatever it is called. It sits almost all the way up to the wall maybe 3 inches away and once fully extended barely grass the wall so hardly any back clearance is needed, just front. Even with a hurting back, it was the easiest chair in the house to get in and out of. I love it and use it every day!

It doesn't sit low to the floor. It does sit you back pretty far though. I'm 5'10 and my feet just reach the floor. Friends shorter than me, there feet don't touch the floor. I actually have to scootch a little forward to get up out of the chair.

Is this chair easy to close? Shopping for someone with leg/knee issues that find it difficult to close some recliners.

I have trouble closing this chair. The material between the chair and the footrest can bunch up and get in the way. I enjoy it otherwise; it just might not be best for someone with leg/knee issues.

I bought the floor model and it had a small spot on the arm rest. I used a dab of dawn and a toothbrush and it cleaned and dried very nice.

Good height recliner.
The arm rests sit up too high in order to reach anything from the end tables. It is comfortable yet, it could us more lower back support.

Monster Uncomfortable Recliner
this chair is so big that I can't reach the lever to recline, because the arms are so over stuffed, the seat is not comfortable at all. Regret buying this recliner.

Awesome recliner!
We sat in over 20 different recliners in 4 different stores. Raised them up, put them down. By far, this recliner beats other more expensive ones, hands down! Easy to recline back or close it up with just a push of a button. No need to try to knock your back out trying to manipulate this chair. The fabric is great, the design fits well with our other furniture. Great Find!

Great for a bigger guy!
At 6ft-3in, 280lbs this is the chair to have! Nice and wide and long enough to keep my legs supported. Very comfortable!

love it
I've got this recliner for my husband's birthday and he loves it. This chair looks bigger then on picture, it so soft and fabric is smooth, silky. I 'm very happy with my purchase and so is my husband.

not too comfortable...the headrest cushion doesnt fit your neck correctly..you need to stuff a pillow in between...maybe if you are 6'4 it would fit..but I am 5'7...not the best support either...too squishy

LARGE, COMFY, 3 POSITIONS
This is the largest recliner I have ever seen. I am 225 lbs. and I fit like a teen. It has all 3 positions, and all that room. That was hard to find all in 1 chair. I was skeptical at first, for the price. I am totally happy with this chair. Delivery and assembly was fast and professional. I just love the quality and value of Ashley furniture.

I LOVE IT!
I have only had this chair for a few days and love it. It's big and cushy! I'm having a hip replacement soon and haven't been able to sleep in a bed and old recliner just didn't do it. It took me all of 10 minutes in the chair and woke up 4hrs later. I am seriously thinking about buying another one. Thank you Ashley furniture for ending my long quest for a good recliner. This one is GREAT!

Love This Recliner!
I bought one of these a year ago and just bought a 2nd one a couple of months ago. This recliner is SO comfortable. I actually have to make rules and limits for sitting in it because when I sit in it I don't want to get up! LOL! My husband is 6'3" and a pretty big guy. This fits him well. We first tried it out in the store to see how he would fit because he looked ridiculous in some of the smaller ones. LOL You will not regret buying this.
