Pretty, but cheaply made

This is the first bed I've ever purchased for myself since graduating college and making some real money. It's not quite what I wanted, but for the price I definitely couldn't argue for much more. I will say the delivery team did a excellent job of carefully getting it inside and putting it together. The base is fairly sturdy; however I will confirm other comments about the headboard not being stable. This does not bother me, but may be a deciding factor for others. The quality of the materials is questionable, but it is a very pretty set that compliments my room well. I bought the chest of drawers and dresser set as well, and it's all just what I need at this time.
