Mattresses:
Rest easy with the fact that your Ashley-Sleep® mattress doesn’t require much care and maintenance. For starters, all Ashley-Sleep mattresses are designed to be no flip—now isn’t that a relief!
How to Care for Your Mattress:
- To help keep your Ashley-Sleep mattress clean, a thin mattress protector is recommended so it breathes to allow airflow and heat dissipation. Ashley-Sleep does not recommend you use a quilted mattress pad as it will change the feel of the mattress you selected at the store. It may also trap heat that needs to escape.
- Don’t use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.
- Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water and apply lightly, allowing the mattress time to fully air dry.
- Please remind the kids not to jump on their Ashley-Sleep mattress, as doing so can break down the inner construction and materials.

I was hoping that it would feel EXTRA PLUSH, like the description states, but it is definitely not. It's a firm mattress ans has not softened up much, even after 10 weeks of sleeping on it.

I need something quite soft, but I couldn't find anything in my budget, I opted for this one because it was the best of doable (comfort wise) and affordable.
It starts off pretty firm when you first lie down, but it forms to you and is really comfortable. It's not the soft mattress I originally wanted, but it's really quite comfortable and I don't wake up with back pain anymore. I think it would be a good "medium" feel.

So far this mattress has been great. I have flannel sheets on mine, which most say are heat generating, and haven’t been hot. Very impressed with how it expands out of the box. It is firm but allows moving around without disturbing the other person.

Not at all. I'm hot natured and though I don't feel like this mattress holds any less heat than my old one, it doesn't seem to hold any more either. I don't get sweaty sleeping on it or anything. It's equal to a regular mattress with springs as far as my personal experience goes, it's just WAY more comfortable!

Yes! I made the mistake of not purchasing one and the bed broke, thankfully it was easily fixed. I purchased a box spring immediately and have had no problems since. I went with the low profile foundation!

Must Buy
The BEST decision I’ve made purchasing this mattress! I bought it for my husband because of his back pain but little did I know, I’d benefit from it too! I haven’t had any joint pains and have actually been able to sleep enough to feel fully rested when I wake up! I love this mattress!

Best mattress ever.
The expectations were above more than what I was thinking. This is hands down the best mattress I have every bought. I got this mattress for my son because of his back pain. He feel in love with it the very first night. He said he love the firmness of the bed for his back and the softness of it for the comfort. The first night he slept on it the next morning he was in so much joy. The first time in a long time his back was not in pain and it's been that way every since. He said it's like the bed is hugging him and it's makes him fall asleep even when he doesn't want to but it's always the best sleep ever. I now am looking to purchase a mattress for myself. 😊

Great purchase!
Shipping was fast, easy for two of us to put the mattress out to expand, it expanded faster than I expected. It is very comfortable. The mattress is firm, but also soft and conforming to the body. I would recommend the Chime 12 to others and purchase again.

Great Value, Comfortable.
Extremely comfortable. There is some plush to it but it is definitely on the firmer side. So if you’re looking for something super plush/soft, maybe look elsewhere. However, it was exactly what I wanted. Way better than a spring mattress (for me). I’d advise to go into an Ashley’s store and test it out for yourself first.

An excellent mattress at a good price!
If you like a mattress on the firm end of the scale, this one is for you. We also have a medium plush mattress that cost more. However I prefer the firmness of the Chime mattress.
When you sit on the edge of the mattress there is good support.
After delivery it inflated quickly with no smell. A good experience.

Not at all plush
It is a nice mattress, but isn't at all what was advertised. I needed a soft plush mattress, but what I got cannot in any way be considered plush. This mattress is very firm. I am a light weight person, and I don't sink into it at all, I lay on top and it feels like I'm sleeping on the floor. Looking into returning it; I'm very disappointed.

Too hard
We purchased this mattress for our tween daughter, but according to her, it's too firm/hard for her liking. I slept on it a couple of nights after receiving it and felt like it could've been a little less hard as well. I definitely would not consider it to be "plush" but more firm. So, if you're looking for a very firm mattress, this is the mattress for you. Otherwise, don't consider buying it.

Docked a star because fully expanded only comes out to ~11''. My parents got a full size and it expanded to a bit over 12''; I was expecting the same. Disappointed the queen is a whole inch short.
The mattress came in a box that had no handles or anything. Packaging material is secure and protects the mattress well. It is tall and heavy, so be prepared to get some help.

Suprisingly Firm and Stable
Nice firm foam mattress. Heavy, so a good base or box spring is good to have. Followed unpacking instructions exactly and it expanded to full thickness, as expected, in less than 24 hrs.
Outer covering is very thin and gauze like (maybe it has to be, in order to compact for shipping) but looks great. We did buy a good mattress cover to better protect it.

Glad I Purchased
I was desperately in need of a new mattress. I was researching and researching and researching trying to pick a bed in a box. I was about to spend $1000 on a different brand when I decided to check what Ashley's had available online. I found this mattress and after reading the reviews, I decided to buy it.
Once I received and unboxed the mattress, I let it air out and expand for 24 hours. There was a slight odor but after the 24 hours, the smell was gone. I am petite but I'm also a side sleeper, which is why I chose memory foam. The first several nights I felt like I was laying on bricks. I know it takes about a month to adjust to a new mattress.
Fast forward almost a month and most of my back and neck pain is gone. The mattress is now broken in and comfortable. My boyfriend has a tempurpedic and even he slept comfortably! I am completely happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend!

Rest easy with the fact that your Ashley-Sleep® mattress doesn’t require much care and maintenance. For starters, all Ashley-Sleep mattresses are designed to be no flip—now isn’t that a relief!
How to Care for Your Mattress:
- To help keep your Ashley-Sleep mattress clean, a thin mattress protector is recommended so it breathes to allow airflow and heat dissipation. Ashley-Sleep does not recommend you use a quilted mattress pad as it will change the feel of the mattress you selected at the store. It may also trap heat that needs to escape.
- Don’t use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.
- Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water and apply lightly, allowing the mattress time to fully air dry.
- Please remind the kids not to jump on their Ashley-Sleep mattress, as doing so can break down the inner construction and materials.

I have not received the mattress yet but after searching a dozen sites this gave me the best value for what I was looking for. I also trust the brand and would prefer using Apple Pay but was able to pay using PayPal which gave me added security.

I purchased this mattress on 11/26/2018. I love it so much I purchased it for a second property I own and will probably order a 3rd when one of the other bedroom mattresses need to be replaced. It is not to firm and not to soft. It perfect !

I was hoping that it would feel EXTRA PLUSH, like the description states, but it is definitely not. It's a firm mattress ans has not softened up much, even after 10 weeks of sleeping on it.

I need something quite soft, but I couldn't find anything in my budget, I opted for this one because it was the best of doable (comfort wise) and affordable.
It starts off pretty firm when you first lie down, but it forms to you and is really comfortable. It's not the soft mattress I originally wanted, but it's really quite comfortable and I don't wake up with back pain anymore. I think it would be a good "medium" feel.

So far this mattress has been great. I have flannel sheets on mine, which most say are heat generating, and haven’t been hot. Very impressed with how it expands out of the box. It is firm but allows moving around without disturbing the other person.

Not at all. I'm hot natured and though I don't feel like this mattress holds any less heat than my old one, it doesn't seem to hold any more either. I don't get sweaty sleeping on it or anything. It's equal to a regular mattress with springs as far as my personal experience goes, it's just WAY more comfortable!

Yes! I made the mistake of not purchasing one and the bed broke, thankfully it was easily fixed. I purchased a box spring immediately and have had no problems since. I went with the low profile foundation!
