Rest easy with the fact that your Ashley-Sleep® mattress doesn’t require much care and maintenance. For starters, all Ashley-Sleep mattresses are designed to be no flip—now isn’t that a relief!
How to Care for Your Mattress:
- To help keep your Ashley-Sleep mattress clean, a thin mattress protector is recommended so it breathes to allow airflow and heat dissipation. Ashley-Sleep does not recommend you use a quilted mattress pad as it will change the feel of the mattress you selected at the store. It may also trap heat that needs to escape.
- Don’t use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.
- Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water and apply lightly, allowing the mattress time to fully air dry.
- Please remind the kids not to jump on their Ashley-Sleep mattress, as doing so can break down the inner construction and materials.

You can use your platform. However, whenever you buy a mattress if you do not purchase a box spring, any warranty claims will not be supported or severely redacted. Mattresses are only supposed to be a 8 year or so investment.

I bought one for my son and he has a daybed with the slats. No boxspring needed. The bottom of the mattress is pretty sturdy so you wouldnt need a boxspring with it for the platform bed.

I have a king size on a platform bed and it is perfect. I think you need to make sure that you have enough support in the platform to make sure it sits evenly, some platforms have slats. Mine is a solid base so the mattress sits evenly across the entire platform. I did purchase the 12 inch to go on a 14 inch platform, so you want to measure the height so you get a bed that is not too low or too high.

It depends on the bed. If its a platform bed then no. If its a regular bed yes. Easy way to tell, Does the bed have drawers under it? If yes, you do not need a box.

We purchased a twin mattress for my mother-in-law as she is more comfortable using a twin bed that anything larger. I found it necessary to purchase a box spring for it to provide support. If you're using a platform of any kind you might not need the box spring. Hope this helps!

In my experience it inflated to 10" totally initially so I waited 24 hours. There was no further inflation, still 10". I still love it though.

No, you can't use this particular matttress on an adjustable frame. This is a combination of coils and memory foam so it can't handle the demands of an adjustable frame. Ashley has other great mattresses that will work though.

I don't see why you couldn't. I was surprised at the quality, and it is very robust for this price point. It is a hybrid, though, so the spring coils inside it will make it a bit less flexible.. Just keep that in mind.

Never slept better
We have had this mattress for a week now and I have to say we love it! It's very comfy and it keeps us cool as we sleep. My husband is a big guy (270) and he sleeps like a baby. No more tossing and turning! I would highly recommend this mattress to my family and friends!

Overall satisfied customer
Surprisingly a good mattress. You never know when something comes in a box but this was for my kid and they are not picky but it is rather comfortable. I didn't measure properly and this was for a bunk bed so I should have got the 10" instead of the 12" so that the mattress wouldn't be so tall for the bunk. But it is comfy and for the price we are satisfied

Great for my 14 yr old daughter!
Bed was for my daughter and she loves it! We’ve had it for a little over a month. It has kept its shape and is still very comfortable. My husband & I are contemplating purchasing the King size for ourselves.

Lower back pain
The first few weeks of using it i had developed lower back pain to the point where it was very difficult for me to even sit for more than 10 minutes. I didn't have the money to get a mattress any more expensive and i had no other alternative. this or the floor. I stuck it out for 3 more months with this mattress because i was able to relieve a lot of the back pain with soft yoga, but using this mattress remains a hindrance to my sleep. I will be getting another soon. 2 stars because its better than the floor.

Honestly it’s the best mattress I have owned. BUY ONLINE not in store. I bought two in person and it’s been more than a month and have yet to receive. I decided two days after I went to the store to purchase another online and received it a week after purchasing.

Not as Plush as Advertised.
Let me state this first: I am 64 years old and joints not so young anymore so I am picky. I was excited when I saw this Hybrid since it stated it was soft and plush. It is not either. I could feel the springs through the side and the top has maybe an inch of padding. I had to buy a mattress topper with padding just to make it bearable. I was supposed to expand to 12 inches but only made it to 10. That would be okay, if it had only been softer. I would not recommend to anyone my age, maybe a tween or teenager.

Amazing Sleep at a Great Price!!!
Extremely happy with the comfort these mattresses offer. Firm enough for those that prefer to sleep on their back or stomach. Yet, soft enough for side sleepers too. I bought two of these in the twin size for my kids. I’ve slept on these about 12 or more times so far. And honestly, great sleep! I will eventually purchase a third mattress in king size for our guest room. Great mattress especially for the price and convenient packaging/delivery. I’m happier with these than I am with my expensive mattress. We’ve only owned these a few months. No complaints except 1 yellowish spot on one mattress when we purchased them. I’m sure it’s from the material. But it’s just a minor cosmetic issue. That’s the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I love this mattress so much. I got one for myself and after sleeping on it for a year I ended up getting another one for my daughter. She would toss and turn all night on her firm foam mattress but would fall asleep instantly on this one. It literally feels like a cloud and I haven’t seen any indents after a year of sleeping on it

Okay for some, but not if you suffer from joint,back issues
I bought this mattress last May for my son since he was transitioning to a toddler bed. I decided to skip the toddler bed altogether and just bought him a full size platform bed. My son sleeps pretty well on it, but he can sleep pretty much anywhere. I was considering buying a queen size for me, so tried it out a few times. I noticed that when I have slept on it, I wake up with hip, back and knee pain. Its horrible for me. So although I would recommend to others. I don't think its for people that have chronic back or any other joint issues. Although I didn't want to spend an Arm & a leg for a mattress, I may have to spend a bit more on a Wink Mattress.

Don’t be fooled just because this is a bed in a box...
I bought this mattress during the COVID pandemic when all stores were closed. I needed a mattress and bought it based solely of the reviews. It is not too hard nor too soft of a bed. Personally I enjoy firm beds and wished I got it a bit firmer but that’s just personal choice. I definitely sleep throughout the night.

Rest easy with the fact that your Ashley-Sleep® mattress doesn’t require much care and maintenance. For starters, all Ashley-Sleep mattresses are designed to be no flip—now isn’t that a relief!
How to Care for Your Mattress:
- To help keep your Ashley-Sleep mattress clean, a thin mattress protector is recommended so it breathes to allow airflow and heat dissipation. Ashley-Sleep does not recommend you use a quilted mattress pad as it will change the feel of the mattress you selected at the store. It may also trap heat that needs to escape.
- Don’t use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.
- Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water and apply lightly, allowing the mattress time to fully air dry.
- Please remind the kids not to jump on their Ashley-Sleep mattress, as doing so can break down the inner construction and materials.
