There was no assembly required. If purchased online it arrives in three days. It is well protected packed in two boxes. It is heavy and that is the only thing that may provide some challenge. The packing is easily removed and the table comes out completely assembled and ready to set wherever you choose. The wheels on the bottom of the table make it easy to move once it’s out of the shipping material.

BEST ANSWER: I haven't spilled anything but I think it is made well enough that if you clean it up quickly it would be alright. I don't see gaps in between the wood slats that would let the liquid through.

It is, but it’s strongest point is when it’s fully extended, it kind of locks in the highest point. When it’s fully extended you can do homework or or put some weight on it, eat, etc. Between high and low point you could a few lighter items on it and it should hold up. I love the table! Nice storage.

What is the bottom color? It looks off white with grey in the stock picture. Some say its cream, some pics look white to dark cream. Does it have grey in the the white?

It is mostly a solid tone across the top, but it definitely is between the brown and gray tints. It is a nice antique-type brown, kinda faded into a gray slightly. If you are looking for a grayish-brown tone, I think you will enjoy the table. I hope that helps!

Yes, it’s grayish brown. I love this table except for the top. I don’t know what it’s made out of but it’s chipping off. I had to put a runner on it. Please keep this in mind. We are in our 60’s, have no little kids around so I don’t think it would hold up.

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the inquiry. It is recommended to use coasters under beverages on items made of wood, including engineered wood and veneers.

Additional tips for the care of wood furniture:

Use a lint-free cloth to polish wood furniture on a weekly basis.

Keep furniture away from heating and air conditioning sources to prevent loss of moisture; and avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading or darkening of wood.

Use felt backing on lamps and other accessories to prevent scratches and gouges, and rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot all the time.

Do not place newspapers or magazines on woods surfaces. The ink from these items may bleed into the finish and could damage the wood.

Do not use abrasives or harsh chemicals on wood furniture.

LOVE!

I love the Bolanburg coffee and end tables. It goes great with my farmhouse/country theme. The lift top is so convenient. I also purchased the chair side table. I highly recommend checking out this collection. The quality is great, as were the prices for each table.
