Please note, a foundation/box spring would be needed to support the mattress for the bed frame.

King Bed : Inappripriate design / Qualtiy
We have had this bed for less than 2 months; One of the side rail and 2 mid slats cracked a month back. They replaced it within 15 days. But again one of the side rail broke. Clearly shoddy materials.
Design for a King Bed with just 3 mid-rails (we have a bunkie board over it) is not supported. Also it would not support the weight of 2 adults (300 pounds). Woudl not suggest for all day use. Could be an option for Kids or Guest bed room.

Great Replacement Bed
Our very old queen bed gave finally gave out. So Saturday morning we had to find a quick replacement. Tried several places before I remember this bed. In store purchasing was smooth and easy (even during these crazy times). Was told that delivery would be approximately one week - couldn't wait that long. Picked up the bed from the distribution center, hubby put it together and Saturday night we were sleeping pretty!!!

Great buy, good wood and color just like photo
Arrived within 4 days, easy to assemble, I purchased 2 twin beds and was done assembling in 30 minutes. That's because I put the screws wrong twice. Sturdy, 3 slats included. I got a standard 74 in mattress for it.

Speedy delivery. Pieces were easy to assemble and lined up nicely. As senior citizens, easy task.
Delivery was in one day- promised by Monday, here by Saturday. Easy to assemble- all pieces lined up perfectly. Using it with a new queen adjustable mattress- fits perfectly. Very reasonable price to put in a guest room.

Very Very nice just one little problem...
I will start off by simply saying that I love this bed! It is a very handsome and sturdy bed. At least it is sturdy now. Let me explain...

This bed only comes with three 1" x 2" slats. Now, I'm a big guy and I have some extra weight on me and with the slats that came with the bed it didn't have nearly enough support. If I was to flop my weight down on the bed I'm quite sure it would have broken a slat and possibly the box spring foundation.

However, I measured the length of the slats (59-5/8" I believe it was) and went to Lowes and bought three 12'
2" x 6" boards and had them cut the boards to the length I needed at the store, making six 2" x 6" slats for the bed. Now the bed is very sturdy and even being a big guy I'm not the least bit worried about hopping up on there and tossing my weight down. The bed is rock solid!!!

Six 2" x 6" slats was way overkill but I know I'll never have to worry about it again.

Since it is so gorgeous and the price is so great it wasn't worth deducting a star for in my opinion. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone, but would also recommend to add some more sturdy slats.

Good buy for kids or adults
Purchased with 8 inch memory foam mattress/not the mattress with springs both size FULL and it's a very nice bed for the price. It's easy to assemble and sturdy. Trying to upload photos. I have 2 kids and myself and all 3 of us don't shake the bed. Very durable and pretty. Would recommend for kids or adults.
Full size with 8inch memory foam mattress and 7.5 inch foundation spring.
3 year old son can climb on and off. Very sturdy

Gorgeous!!!
We purchased this bed and the wide dresser for the spare bedroom.
It is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect in every way.
Love what we've bought from Ashley. But Ashley it self? Not so much.
We stood in the store. Forever. Finally grabbed a salesperson. She mumbled and looked lost. I said never mind. Home to order online. The ONLY way to shop!

Poor design, nonstandard size.
While we generally like the Ashley brand, this particular bed was very unsatisfactory, and we had to return it. The bed is poorly designed. Normally with this kind of beds the box spring would land on multiple rails or on a base - this bed only has 3 rails, with the box spring resting on 6 distinct points, adding stress to the box spring. Polish is inferior overall, and the back of the headboard is not polished at all, which you cannot see from the pictures online. The packing is very difficult - the parts are tied to the unpolished side of the headboard with belts that are attached with numerous heavy duty staples, which are super hard to remove, got a scar on my hand from removing these staples. The inner size of the bed is wrong - it is at least 1.5 inches wider than the standard twin mattress, so, you will end up with a long ugly and inconvenient 1.5-inch slot/step between the mattress and the side of the bed. To make things much worse, Ashley does not have an arrangement to return furniture to local stores, they say it is because Ashley is franchise - this does not really explain anything, franchise should be able to arrange the business model where returning to local stores is supported.
