Great Family Table
This is a very solid table, though 'soft' wood. We have 4 young children and this is a very well used table for many purposes. We have had this for 4 months now and it does handle the daily wear and tear accustomed to furniture in our home. I have some slight scratch marks and even small 'chips' or grooves but I have used the proper wood products and it has restored a luster and even dulled the scratches and other would be seen marks. I only purchased the table, the chairs and bench were purchased elsewhere. I desired more of a farmhouse - medium wood & style, but couldn't pass up the price and I do love the modern & dark finish (which has gray undertone) just as much. This keeps a very shinny finish - glossy. I do keep the extension in since we need all the space, this will accommodate 10 people which was another strong factor in purchase. All and all great for needs and value!

Scratches
I purchased this table back in July 2018. It's a really nice table but it gets scratched up so easily. As much as I paid I would have thought that the table would not be a better quality.

Sturdy table
For a family of 5 this table is perfect. Everyone has leg room and arm room. The table is sturdy even with the kids.

Absolutely Love it!
I bought this table online. Had not seen it in person and was skeptical, but the price was right and figured I could just send back if it was horrid. I am very pleased with the quality and look of it. Perfect in every way. The leaf looks and works great as well. Some other reviewers had mentioned they were dissatisfied with the leaf, but no problems here. LOVE IT!
